When you arrive, a member of our team will welcome you as part of the ChiroHealth family. We request that you complete our New Patient Online Forms and return them 24 prior to your appointment. This paperwork allows us to know your better by providing us with your health history and information about your current condition. Please remember to arrive 10 minutes to your scheduled time and expect to spend 45 minutes in your Consultation and Exam appointment. You will be given a thorough tour of the office so you feel acquainted with the variety of services that ChiroHealth offers. We want you to feel comfortable on your path of health.
Next, you will consult with one of our Doctors of Chiropractic to discuss your health and any concerns. We will also begin to identify possible treatment options. The purpose of the consultation is to gather information necessary to determine if the ChiroHealth team and services we provide are the right partner for your health and wellness.
A thorough orthopedic, neurological, and chiropractic examination will be performed to determine the extent of your neuromuscular skeletal status. Our chiropractors and chiropractic assistants will work together to determine if you are a candidate for continued care.
The doctor will determine during the examination which x-rays, if any, will be necessary. We do not perform x-rays on pregnant women. We err on the side of caution and attempt to refrain from performing x-rays on children under 18. However, we may perform x-rays on children if it deemed necessary by the doctor.
So, what comes next? See what to expect from your second visit.
